TMS2000 Tool Monitoring System
The Lamba TMS2000 provides a low cost solution to the supervision and protection of your valuable press tools.
The TMS2000 aims to provide a cost effective solution to costly machine downtimes, particularly by detecting conditions which may lead to tool breakages as well as scrap components. It features a series of sensors fitted to the press tool and surrounding elements ensuring that the machine is constantly monitored for foreign bodies, non ejected parts, mispitched strip etc. A wide range of sensors, dependant on the application can be fitted to the unit.
The TMS2000 stops the press by interrupting the clutch/brake circuit whenever a fault is detected. The faulty channel(s) will be indicated on the LED display. The operator can then rectify the fault and reset the unit.
The unit can be fitted to any type of press tool or metal forming machine. The programmable nature of the TMS makes it easier for us to provide solutions for customers with special applications.
